Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress 'Parker's Madhouse' Relic 6x8-inch Acrylic Desk Display

Own and display an authentic piece from this famous B-17G Flying Fortress combat veteran attached to this beautifully made-in-USA two-sided acrylic desk display by Ron Cole. Original art of this aircraft, named Parker's Madhouse', combined with the relic - a roughly 1.5x1-inch section of aluminum from this aircraft's tail section. History and COA on the reverse.  Signed & numbered. Very limited to only 30.  This Boeing B-17G s/n 43-37990 was assigned to the 547th Bomb Squadron, 384th Bomb Group, 8th Air Forse. It was given the name 'Parker's Madhouse' by its crew. On March 10th, 1944, during Operation Wesselring, this B-17 was damaged by German flak. After the crew safely bailed out of the aircraft, Parker's Madhouse flew on into Belgium and eventually crashed into a farmhouse near Tremelo. No one was injured, and local civilians famously made off with much of this bomber's material before the scene was secured by police and what remained was salvaged.  The tail section from Park
