Mostly seen in the halls of the general hospital and in private residences around 1955, this low bench style was designed for lounging. The solid teakwood frame features braided canework on the seat and backrest. The slanted backrest forms the base and continues into the legs giving this piece a horizontal ‘Z’ shaped profile.
