DIMENSIONSMax height: 75cm Width: 72cm Depth: 80cm Seat: 39.5cm The comfortable and stylish Pierre Jeanneret upholstered lounge chair model PJ-SI-32A from Pierre Jeanneret’s collections was peppered across Chandigarh at the Panjab University, High Court, student housing and other administrative buildings during 1958-59. As the name suggests this Chandigarh chair was built for lounging and was therefore often used as part of a larger set with a sofa or other seating. The solid teakwood chair has an upholstered backrest and seat. The armrests with roll style stuffed padding are also left slightly uncovered exposing the wooden frame. The armrests sit on top of flat profiled ‘V’ shaped legs that are connected by two supporting rails from below.
