Christmas Otomi Hand-Embroidered Ornament-Star

This collection is a collaborative project with Casita No.8 and Vickery Trading Co. employing Otomi artisans in Mexico to hand-embroider the colorful designs and refugee women in Dallas to create the ornaments. Every ornament reflects a unique floral or animal design, and each one has a unique color combination chosen by the artisan. They are backed with colorful striped fabric that is also cut uniquely to each ornament and embellished with a brilliantly colored handmade pom tassel.
