Shenandoah Shoals Roving

 Shenandoah Shoals colorway is inspired by days playing in the river! The Shenandoah river runs on the far eastern part of the West Virginia border. In many spots it is shallow with smooth rocks pushing through the water. This experience is mirrored in this colorway with 50% of the skein colored in deep yet bright blue, and the other 50% brown with subtle green tones.  What makes Companion Fiber hand dyed wool special? Our colors are curated to create a beautiful variegated effect in your spun yarn. The specialized dye process makes fiber that is fluffy and easy to spin. This eliminates any need for additional carding. Each braid of individually dyed fiber contains approximately 4 ounces of wool. Shipping times are one week from order date. This roving is dyed to order. If it is in stock, shipping date will be 1-2 business days.   There are two options for bases: 100% Merino Wool - 21.5 microns and 3-4 inches in staple length  100% Corriedale Wool - 25-27 microns and 90mm in staple
