Northern Michigan does have some fantastic cherries and the Grand Traverse region and their cherry festivals and cherry shops and cherry wine and... well... This is a topic very near and dear to my heart- in fact we make a full-blown family vacation of it every summer up North on Glen Lake and it never gets old.
