Rain Forrest

Rain Forrest 40x16 Rain Forrest was another piece done with palette knife.  Quieter music lended to a softer color palette and a softer feel.  Sometimes the music truly dictates the strokes and the blend of colors.  With the greens and yellows and the little pops of purple, I felt like we were in the Amazon Rain Forrest.  If you look at certain parts of it, it almost looks like birds flying thru. It's as if you are taking a quiet walk thru a Rain Forrest among the local birds.  Most of the birds look white - so like doves - a symbol of peace and tranquility.
