Anachronistic Feast - Mass produced donuts of the Hostess variety juxtaposed to the formality of a staid queen and beautiful Bavarian porcelain. A visual pun intended to invoke humor, thought and a bit of nostalgia for the forgotten sweetness of youth. My sculptures are about visual contrast, objects that inspire wonder, curiosity and spark conversation. The Perfect Pairings collection incorporates found objects in the form of vintage porcelain, English and French, with old-world statuary resulting in delightfully contemporary one-of-a-kind sculptural art fit for a Queen!  Constructed from multiple molds hand and rotationally cast, assembled into a final work and signed with the CP KATE logo.
