Each vent features a seamlesscap, a spark arresting (SA) style exhaust element, afriction-free valve assembly, a base and a mounting hub.The mounting hub, along with associated pipe fi ttings,permits direct mounting through a round cutout on thetop or side of a protected enclosure. This device functionsin conjunction with Pepperl+Fuchs enclosure protectionsystems, to reduce the hazardous (classifi ed) area ratingwithin protected enclosure(s), in accordance with theNEC - NFPA 70, Article 500, NFPA 496 and ISA 12.
