3500/53 Electronic Overspeed Detection System Description:The Bently Nevada™ 3500/53 Electronic Overspeed Detection System is a highly reliable and fast-response tachometer system designed specifically for use in overspeed protection systems. This redundant system meets the requirements of the American Petroleum Institute (API) Standards 670 and 612 for overspeed protection. The 3500/53 modules can be configured in a 2-out-of-2 or 2-out-of-3 voting system (the latter is recommended).
