Emerson EPRO PR9268/617-100-N Electrodynamic Velocity Sensor

The EPRO PR9268/617-100-N is an electrodynamic velocity sensor. It measures absolute vibration of critical turbomachinery applications. The sensor has a sensitivity of 28.5 mV/mm/s at 80 Hz/20°C/100 kOhm. Its measurement range is ± 1,500µm. The frequency range is 4 to 1,000 Hz. It can operate in temperatures ranging from -20 to 100°C and can handle humidity from 0 to 100% non-condensing. The sensor comes in a variety of cable lengths and can be supplied with or without a Harting connector. It offers high performance with excellent accuracy and repeatability. It has a wide frequency range from 0.1 Hz to 10 kHz. The sensor is ruggedly constructed for harsh industrial environments and is easy to install and maintain. Applications of this sensor include absolute vibration measurement of critical turbomachinery such as steam, gas and hydro turbines, compressors, pumps, and fans to measure case vibration. It provides accurate measurements with a typical accuracy of ±0.05% of full scale and has a wide measurement range of up to 100 m/s or 10000 RPM.
