German Nutcracker : Halloween Witch

A very lovely witch donning her All Hallow's Eve frock with her broom and a jack o'lantern, too. We love her starry night cap and the wart on her nose and her traditional Halloween colors. Handmade by artisans of the Christian Ulbricht Company; they've been making nutcrackers by hand in Germany's Erzgebirge Mountains, where wooden nutcrackers first originated, since 1928. This is a working nutcracker (the lever in back operates her jaws), made by hand of solid painted and natural finish woods. Her salt & pepper hair is faux fur. Just over 19 1/2" tall x 7 1/4" wide x 7" deep. Handmade in Germany.    32-576
