With every tee you purchase, Cool The Climate will permanently bury 10 kgs of Co2 in the ground. The average tee produces approximately 7 kgs of Co2. Our tees are grown and sewn in North America for low carbon emissions with approximate Co2 emissions of 5 kg. We then pay a company to convert biomass waste (like plant stalks which would otherwise release carbon into the atmosphere) into Co2 bricks. These bricks are permanently buried underground so the tee can be carbon negative – please hang dry your tee and wash it in cold water to keep its future life emissions low.
