UltraLite Kiln & Accessories - Mini Kiln We do not recommend firing dimensional metal clay pieces in this kiln. This compact, mini kiln is a great beginner kiln for those not interested in investing in a table top kiln quite yet. It will fire silver metal clay, over glaze enamels and is good for metal annealing and heat treating. The UltraLite is also popular with jewelers worldwide for working with granulation, keum-boo and fusing small glass. The UltraLite Studio Kiln will fire FS999™ Fine Silver Clay, Phoenix Torch Fireable Clay™ and Art Clay Silver. This kiln is not recommended for sterling silver clays.  For firing metal clay, the ceramic inserts are required. For enameling, the protective mica disc is highly recommended to protect the heating element from damage. These are sold separately (Available in the dropdown).
