Description:SL904 is a katana with a very masculine look brought by its dominant black color. It has a shinogi zukuri blade in honsanmai lamination. The edge is 1095 carbon steel while the sides are folded steel with a very nice hada. The blade is differentially-hardened with a visible natural hamon and then oxidized to create a black finish and a reddish hamon. The tsuka is made of a hardwood core with black rayskin panels wrapped with black, synthetic silk ito. The fittings have a bamboo theme. The tsuba, fuchi and kashira are made of blackened iron while the black seppa, black habaki and menuki are made of brass. The saya is matte black with a black ito.
