Model 28: Acorn Marching

11/16" diameter with medium-long taper butt to bead, 17 1/2" length, large acorn bead #28 Acorn Marching is our longest model at 17 1/2". The oversize acorn bead gives a full, rich, fat sound while the long taper narrowing to the large head allows for fast response and rebound. Made in American hickory. Our “First Quality” pairs are fully matched for weight and pitch. Our "Outliers" are our first quality sticks matched up with a bit more leeway for pitch and weight than we use for full price pairs. The weight can be an actual match or within a few grams, while the pitch is matched for some gradations within low/medium/high.
