CARLA SKIRT - Navy Nylon Faille

Ann Mashburn refers to the Carla as the slightly chilled-out, slightly more casual take on their pleated wrap skirt. It has an easy pull-on elastic waist with a semi-attached belt, so you can throw it on and look polished (and cinched) in a snap. This one is made up in a nylon faille from Italy — a surprisingly tough fabric that still manages to deliver on beautiful movement and subtle sheen. This belt is attached by two small stitches at the back, so you never have to worry about losing it on a dance floor or leaving it behind in a hotel. If you'd prefer them separate, the stitches can be easily snipped by a tailor (or by you, if you're extra handy.)
