Hills & Streams weave kilim cushion in natural black-brown wool with canvas back - 14" x 20" This handwoven pillow is made largely from wool and plants - woven by hand on upright tapestry looms in Turkey. Wool is small batch dyed by hand, using traditional vegetation sources like indigo, madder root, chamomile, and hazelnut, to name a few.The back is 100% canvas, which is dyed with same vegetation sources used on the wool. The fill is natural kapok, a silk-like natural fiber harvested only from the pod of the Kapok Tree, cased in organic cotton. It feels like a cross between a down or poly filled cushion - but it is resilient and fairly firm.
