Black and Brown Round Lidded Stoage Basket

Round lidded storage baskets are made of 100% dried 'Milulu' reed grass. Dyed with locally sourced natural dyes.  Revitalizing the tradition of Iringa and Njombe basket weaving in Southern Tanzania, these baskets are made by artisan groups of women who continue to train and improve their weaving skills, and learn to market their designs and provide rural women with economic opportunity and control over their financial well being.
