Stereoview card (3D) - 7" x 3.5" (Holmes format) This tunnel sets the tone for what is to come when starting a journey through Watkins Glen from the lower entry.  As your eyes adjust to the darkness, the exit seems to explode in light.  Visitors find themselves stepping out of the tunnel and directly onto Sentry Bridge.  The Watkins Glen Gorge contains several trails and bridges that wind their way from serene to sublime natural views.  Watkins Glen State Park can be found nestled in the Finger Lakes on the southern end of Seneca Lake.  It's just over a mile as the crow flies but the zig zagging trail and changes of elevation result in a much longer hike if one wishes to get the complete experience.  With such extraordinary splendor, the Gorge was the subject of some of the earliest stereo photographs made in the Americas. I am pleased to carry on that tradition of capturing this American treasure through the 19th century magic of Stereoscopy. Card can be viewed in a traditional stereo
