Now, it’s back in our collection, reimagined to appeal to both loyal fans and new generations. The updated 1994 sweater retains the distinctive symbols inspired by Norse mythology but is crafted in a thinner, softer yarn, with an improved fit and refreshed color palette. Knitted at our factory in Dale, Norway, it is made of 100% wool – just like the original. The sweater’s symbols and figures from Norse mythology are: Frøya, the goddess of love and fertility, with the ability to foresee the future. Odin, the most powerful and wisest of the gods. He is riding Sleipner, the fastest horse in the world. Two ravens, Hugin and Munin, symbolizing thought and recollection, one pointing forward, the other backwards.
