Chrome stick kit for OE replacement on 6 speed manual trans in: 2004-2006 Dodge Ram SRT-10 (V10 Viper engine, OEM Hurst base #5161428AA only) Does NOT FIT Viper cars or other Ram trucks Replaces Mopar #5037436AA (Hurst chrome stick #0061) Note: BEFORE you buy - confirm two silver nuts fasten stick to stub (=7/8" bolt spacing). Early models used bolts that thread into stub - these models have 1" bolt spacing that requires slotting the top stick hole (available slotted +$20) Use with STOCK TRIM & BOOT - no other parts needed OE rubber isolator is eliminated, creating a solid feel to enhance control Knob height is 2.5" lower than stock = 13% throw reduction! Kit includes chrome stick #7991, classic knob, & M10 adapter bolts To install: Remove stock stick and all parts of rubber isolator down to bare stub Mate serrations of stick to serrations of stub. Insert supplied bolts thru stick and stub. Thread supplied locknuts onto bolts and tighten to 33 ft-lb
