From Mount Veeder Winery, this California Cabernet Sauvignon (2014) is a big Cab with grapes grown high on the hillside slopes of Mount Veeder, clinging to rugged facades with rocky, steep soils. This is benchmark Californian cabernet in all its glory. Aromas of blackberry, blackcurrant and cassis with some dry underbrush and herbs and smoke on the finish. Tannins are soft, rounded.
