Remus Repeal Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey Series V

This year’s Series V release is comprised of barrels laid down from 2005 to 2008, making by far the oldest average Remus Repeal Reserve yet. It’s also the widest range of barrels and recipes used, with a total of five different bourbons used to craft this release. The final 100 proof blend breaks down as 9% 2005 Bourbon (21% Rye), 5% 2005 Bourbon (36% Rye), 19% 2006 Bourbon (21% Rye), 13% 2008 Bourbon (21% Rye) and 54% 2008 Bourbon (36% Rye). Doing some quick math, this means that the barrels in the blend range from 13 (or on the older end of 12 years, depending on which month exactly they were laid down) to 16 years old. In good news for fans of Remus Repeal Series IV, the majority (67%) of this years Series V blend is the same 2008 bourbon that was used for Series IV. 750ml
