MECHTILDE (*) cold process lard soap - Lavender, Sage & Juniper

Old fashioned, cold process lard soap, from my "soaping with Saints" series (*) denotes this soap's scent is gender neutral, if that is your preference. Mechtilde- Lavender, Sage & Juniper Inspired by St. Mechtilde. The trouble with history is that I'm so fascinated by it, and could write paragraphs. Keeping things short is difficult, and that could be said of describing the life of the very steadfast Mechtilde, who was a Benedictine nun in the Middle Ages. She was gifted with a beautiful voice and presided as Cantrix throughout her entire lifetime, often described as a "nightingale".
