The exposure time coupled with dark skies allowed me to reveal much more detail on our galactic neighbor, with features that feel so close you could touch them (despite this object being 2.5 MILLION light years away.) Those pink objects within the galaxy are actually nebulae, giving birth to new stars to add to this galaxy's already impressive 1 TRILLION. For those of you interested, the raw data from this shot has been uploaded to my dr
