After a lifetime of service in the military, my husband retired to his childhood neighborhood - South Hill, in Spokane. South Hill is a collection of memories from the first year spent in our 'forever' home - from the squirrels making their home in our backyard to the toadstools growing in the fairy ring, from the rose bushes and freesias in our garden, to our son's love for the moon and night sky.
