All Cotton Folding 6" Loft (Couch) Futon

Our all-cotton futons are approximately 5" thick and will compress over time, becoming firmer. Our futons are tufted in order to keep all of the materials in place. It is not uncommon for a futon of this type to start out at a puffy soft 6" thick and compact down to a firm 4" over the course of 3-6 months of consistent use.  This particular futon was designed to be used primarily on a folding couch frame and in a temporary or guest-bed application. . Most likely an adult who is used to sleeping on a more western style mattress will find this too uncomfortable for use within 60-90 days if used as their primary sleeping surface.  We offer an 8" all-cotton futon that is more appropriate for nightly sleeping however, unless you grew-up using this type of futon, our suggestion is to let us help you find another choice that will be more
