All Cotton & Wool Folding 6" Loft (Couch) Futon

This hand crafted all cotton & wool futon combines the best of two natural fibers to create the perfect mattress that conforms to the body while also regulating temperature. It is not uncommon for a futon of this type to start out at a puffy soft 6" thick and compact down to a firm 4" over the course of 3-6 months of consistent use.  This particular futon was designed to be used primarily on a folding couch frame and in a temporary or guest-bed application. Most likely an adult who is used to sleeping on a more western style mattress will find this too uncomfortable for use within 60-90 days if used as their primary sleeping surface.  We offer an 8" all-cotton & wool futon that is more appropriate for nightly sleeping however, unless you grew-up using this type of futon, our suggestion is to let us help you find another choice that will be more comfortable and longer lasting.
