Available in Rustic Walnut finish in full size only.  Easily converts into a bed. These frames are made from Rubberwood (Parawood). Commonly known as the rubber tree or Para rubber tree, it is native to the Amazon Region of South America and is also grown in Southeast Asia. Rubberwood produces the latex used in rubber-based products. After the economic life of the rubber tree, which is generally 26-30 years, the latex yields become extremely low and the planters then fell the rubber trees and plant new ones. So, unlike other woods that are cut down for the sole purpose of producing furniture, Rubberwood is used only after it completes its latex-producing cycle and dies. Rubberwood wood is eco-friendly since the wood would otherwise go to waste. *Colors of frame may be slightly different than pictured due to lighting and screen variations.* About the futon:  The Supreme is the perfect combination of inner firmness, outer softness, and overall flexibility. Ideally suited for both folding frames and platform frames, this mattress can handle it all. Our futons are tufted in order to keep all of the materials in place. The heart of the approximately 8" Supreme is a 2" piece of CertiPUR-US® Foam surrounded by Wellspring™ fiber batting. Two extra pieces of 2.5” convoluted CertiPUR-US® foam wrapped in Wellspring™ fiber add to the amazing loft of this futon. The Supreme is environmentally friendly, durable and very comfortable. Our exclusive Wellspring fiber is a revolutionary material that utilizes the second use of plastics. It is fiber that is generated from recycled polyethylene, familiar to you as two liter beverage containers. It's clean, odor free, and very resilient. The fibers look and feel incredibly like cotton; fluffy, soft, and very finely textured. The Wellspring fibers are amazingly light, and easy to work with. Our recycled fiber is non-allergenic and extremely comfortable. Wellspring fiber prevents millions of bottles from ending up in landfills. We fill our futons with a set formula but because batches of cotton can vary and we make our futons by hand, they don't always start their life at perfect mattress dimensions.  Usually a futon will begin up to three inches shorter than industry standard.  As the fibers inside compact, they spread outward often causing a gain of 1-3 inches.  This compaction process can take up to a year to accomplish. CertiPUR-US® foam is a flexible polyurethane foam which has been rigorously tested and certified by an accredited laboratory to meet specific criteria for physical performance, content, indoor emissions and environmental stewardship.
