Interesting info about this watch:  Benrus was founded 1921 by Benjamin Lazrus and his 2 brothers. Casing in New York with imported Swiss movements. The watches were popularized in 1926 with marketing based on Charles Lindbergh. During WWII Benrus technologically elevated the anti magnetic watch case to advance aviation warfare and perfecting the waterproof proof watch for mariners and divers. So well respected that in 1963 the DNC gifts JFK a custom Benrus watch which he added to his treasured collection.  Maker Origins:  American Company out of New York. Swiss movements cased in NYC. Established 1921. Recently reignited the company in NYC.
