Here is what to do: 1. put some toast in the toaster, 2. hot out of the toaster put some pumpkin butter on the toast, 3. voila! ( its almost as good as pumpkin pie) Our butters are simmered over low heat until they reach that magic stage when it becomes a fruit butter. A jar in the cupboard and some toast means you will always have a bit of pumpkin pie heaven readily available.
