Antique Turkmen Hat

I’ve long had an affinity for collecting antique hats on my travels. They add a striking layer of texture and history to a bookcase or tabletop display. This early 20th-century tribal hat hails from Turkmenistan in Central Asia. It’s crafted from hand-dyed cotton and richly embroidered with silk threads in shades of gold, deep red, brown, yellow, cream, and black. 7.7" x 4.5" Excellent antique condition; stand not included.
