Inspired by our travels in the UAE, this pattern is based on a symmetry of 5. Five is indicative of the Golden Ratio, a proportion of growth and movement common throughout the universe. From ancient times, the five-pointed star was also a symbol of inspiration and manifestation:  a star pointing up represented a person seeking and a star pointing down represented the answer.
