Raw Honey - Amber Necklace

Our jewelry is handmade using original baltic sea amber that is over 45 million years old. Baltic amber has some of the highest concentrations of succinic acid found in nature. Its anti-inflammatory properties is what makes it so special. This fossilized tree sap has been preserved for millions of years under the sea, and is a true gift from mother nature.  Amber teething necklaces are designed to be worn by babies when they are teething. The common belief is that the child’s body heats the amber, causing it to release oils containing succinic acid. The succinic acid, in theory, is then absorbed and helps to ease baby’s pain. The string on each of our necklaces and bracelets is knotted by hand in between each and every bead, so should the necklace break (which it should if necessary), the rest of the beads will not scatter or become a choking hazard.
