When drawing this, I was heavily inspired by this quaint and peaceful street called 琉璃厂 (liu li chang) in the heart of the Beijing where the locals would buy all things Chinese calligraphy/art: brushes, ink stones, carved stone stamps, calligraphy paper, embroidery materials, etc. No tourists, no touristy spots. Just peace, zen, and simple living 🌾 I went there a couple of times to buy my own calligraphy materials.
