Flaked White Wheat for Brewing
Flaked White Wheat is a light-colored brewing adjunct used to enhance body, improve head retention, and support haze formation in a wide range of beer styles. Packaged in a one-pound bag, it contributes smooth texture and stable foam, making it well suited for wheat beers, New England IPAs, Belgian ales, and other styles that benefit from fuller mouthfeel and natural haze. With a color rating of approximately two degrees Lovibond, Flaked White Wheat provides a pale straw hue and a mild, bready wheat flavor. Its soft grain character blends easily with base malts and specialty grains while maintaining a consistent, balanced profile in the finished beer. This ingredient integrates directly into the mash without additional preparation and performs reliably in both all-grain and partial mash brewing. It can be used at five to ten percent of the grain bill when the goal is improved foam stability or incorporated at higher levels, up to forty percent, to produce hazy, full-bodied wheat beers
