NEW TIME! August Second Sunday School, 8/10/25, 11-2pm with Heartfelt Hands

Due to the impending heat, we are shifting our hours to 11am-2pm instead of 1-4! We are so excited to welcome Heartfelt Hands once again to our Second Sunday School! All are welcome to attend, including folks who attended in April! Heartfelt Hands is dedicated to those who process our grief through crafting and building community. The NAMES Project AIDS Memorial Quilt inspires this project and the many hands of our ancestors who built safety stitch by stitch while being held by the community. Colleen(aka Death Doula Does) and Em (aka Dood Pdx) dreamed up this space as a way to give back to those grieving or dying as queer folks. As two queers who mourn and grieve through crafting, they longed for a way to invite others in and give back to their Queer community. In this Second Sunday edition, with the support of Knitted Wit & Craft Emporium, we will learn to quilt using the English Paper Piece (EPP) method.
