*Unpolished* 1984 Rolex Submariner (Ref. 5513)

The Rolex Submariner Reference 5513 is the embodiment of the classic dive watch. The 5513 is simple yet sophisticated and rugged. The Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513 was first introduced in 1962 and ceased production in late 1989. The Ref. 5513 is a purpose-built dive watch that lacks the date function like other Rolex Submariner models. In 1983 the Rolex Submariner Ref 5513 experienced a transition with the dial format that was offered within the reference. Rolex transitioned away from the previously offered matte dial's which entered production in late 1966 and moved to the more modern and contemporary dial that featured a glossy dial pared with white gold luminous-filled plots and hands ending the matte dial era for the Submariner. This same dial can still be seen in modern Rolex production even to this day. This 1984 Rolex Submariner Ref. 5513 is in absolutely stunning condition and would make a versatile daily driver.
