Sour - Other | 7.2% ABV Commercial Description: Ale Aged In Oak w/ Crimson Glow Plums & Flavor Royale Pluots. There is no hiding how much we love working with stonefruit in, and out of, our mixed-fermentation program here at Mikkeller San Diego. A particular few that we have not yet integrated on an annual rotation are plums, and pluots (a plum/apricot hybrid). Showcases upwards of 3 lbs per gallon of succulent Flavor Royale Pluots & juicy Crimson Glo Plums from our friends at Sunnycal Farms. A balanced profile highlights a subtle tannin from the fruit skin and a full palate acidity, finishing clean and ethereal. Notions of rose water, lavender, and strawberry play into tart blackberry and orange wine. Have fun, and don't worry about being 'proper'.
