As a notable New York naval figure, he was the obvious choice for the New York Distilling Company to name a Navy Strength gin after.At 57% ABV, if this delicious American gin were to spill over some gunpowder, it would still ignite due to science. Yes, science! However, we recommend pouring it over ice or into cocktails (like a Gimlet, perhaps) rather than over gunpowder. It'll likely taste better that way.
