Rollo's Horse Bracelet

This was the arm ring Rollo wore in the History Channel’s series Vikings. When he falls in love with the French princess Gisela, he gives her his bracelet as a sign of his devotion to her. Later she places the bracelet at the feet of a statue of the Virgin Mary as she prays that Rollo will return safely from battle. Design Details The Rollo’s Horse Bracelet is constructed with a very stiff braid of wire, and is approximately 5/16 inch (8 mm) thick. It is only available in sterling silver. Historical Inspiration This bracelet was inspired by an actual Viking arm ring from Gotland, Sweden dating to the 9th century AD. It was made of braided silver with cast horse heads.
