Rare Antique Flamed European Secretary Desk.  This is a very rare piece of furniture that's in ridiculously good condition.  If you have been looking for a statement piece, your wait is over!  We think it's date October 11, 1935 and we could make out the words sender, Mr., and place of residence.  The lower section reads from Giessen which is a German town and to Konstanz Bodensee which is another town in Germany.  We think it may be a railroad tag so the piece might be older than 1935.  It certainly looks older than a 20th century piece.  The previous owner said that he thought his Mom purchased it in Italy.  We said on the video that is was Italian but after more research it's more likely French or German. The upper and lower cabinets open and close properly.  The locking mechanisms work on all of the doors except for the small interior door.  The secretary desk moves up and down and is supported properly.  Dimensions: 38" Wide x 19" Deep x 75" Tall  Shipping and Delivery We offer lo
