It's quick and convenient to use even during competition. This device measures the actual surface grit on your bowling ball. This product displays the grit of the ball in 0.5 sec with the click of a button. It also shows up to the three latest scans.  This device is great to measure the rate of surface change which is partially responsible for "lane transition".
