About Finca Costa Rica A quarter of a century ago (that’s 25 years for all you non-math folks!), Faver Ninco began his coffee journey when he learned most of what he knows from his father and neighbors. Then, a handful of years ago, he became interested in specialty coffee and its varieties. This interest came in conjunction with his four children’s involvement in their coffee operation as well. Now, each of the family members owns their own coffee plants and selects the varieties they want to grow to contribute to the growth of the farm. We think that’s such a fun way to encourage excitement and allow ownership over their plants.   Between them all, they have nearly 20,000 trees and grow varieties such as caturra, pink bourbon, geisha, papayo, and java. This lot is a lovely blend of varieties across all his fields.
