Velvet Valance

This valance or wall hanging was made in Uzbekistan while they were under Russian rule - which explains the motifs and Russian language. The base is velvet with an embroidered ribbon lining the bottom, and polychromatic tassels with beads finishing it off. It is backed with cotton.
