The Moon and Spoon

One of our newest freestanding sculptures, The Moon and Spoon brings the night sky down to ground level. Hole patterns reference the Big and Little Dipper constellations—long known as the “big and little spoons”—while the oxidized steel body and flame-sprayed zinc moon are built to weather beautifully over time. As the zinc patinas, it mimics the mottled, timeworn surface of the moon—turning each piece into a living, shifting tribute to light, distance, and connection. Forged from earth.
