Acer saccharum, 'Millane's Dwarf' sugar maple Variety description: A true dwarf sugar maple with a densely upright, columnar habit achieving only 20' tall by 8' wide in 20 years. Growing 3-6" per year, ultimate height is about 30'. Fall color is glowing red-orange. This dwarf cultivar was discovered by Millane's Nursery in Cromwell, Connecticut.  Height and Spread at Maturity: 30' tall and 20' wide. Site requirements: Full sun or part shade location. Will grow in a range of soil types provided the planting location is well drained.  Hardiness: USDA zones 4-9.Plant size: 2 gallon grafted tree, 12-18" tallWhen we ship: Available for early Fall 2025 shipping.
