Metasequoia glyptostroboides, 'Ogon' Golden Dawn Redwood

Variety description: A fast-growing selection of dawn redwood with bright yellow feathery foliage that will turn tawny brown before being shed in the fall. This is a specimen tree that will create a striking statement in the landscape with its golden foliage. In very warm climates, foliage is subject to burn in the full sun. Height and Spread at Maturity: Expect this tree to grow to 20’ tall within ten years. Site requirements: Full sun or part shade location. Prefers moist soils high in organic content, but will grow well in many soil types.  Hardiness: USDA zones 5-9.Plant size: Grafted tree, 36" tall with strong central leader.
