Notable characteristics: We selected this tree peony from our open-pollinated seedling beds after many years of observation. It dates to the early 2000s and first bloomed about a decade ago. From all appearances, the parentage of this tree peony are a Chinese rockii tree peony crossed with Chinese Central Plains type. Flowers seems to glow, radiating the serene yet dynamic beauty of a spring morning. Moderate growth rate. Hybridizer: Cricket Hill Garden, to be registered with the American Peony Society in 2025.Growth habit and size at maturity (10 years old): Upright and spreading. Flowers held well above the foliage. Grows to 4' tall and 3' wide in 10 years.Flower form and size: Anemone double, 6-8". Flower fragrance: Light and sweet.
